If you wish to train regularly at the club you need to become a member. Membership fees enable us to pay for instructors and venues, and to subsidise guest instrutors, gradings, competitions and socials. Being a member also entitles you to half-price training (see below). Membership fees are as follows:

If you intend to do a lot of training you may alternatively pay a flat rate of £45 for a whole term.
Everyone who does a martial art must have a licence. Licences provide insurance cover in the case of an accident — don't worry, this pretty much never happens, but the safety net is there in case it does. In order to train at CUKC you'll need a licence from the Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB), which is our parent association. Licence application forms are available from the noticeboard outside the Large Gym at Fenner's (they're the blue forms); fill one in and send it off together with a passport-sized photograph and a cheque for £21 (£17 for renewals).
